In 1860, a visionary named John Henry “Jack” Beam gave birth to Early Times, a whiskey that matured alongside the nascent United States during a time when much of America retained its rural charm. The name “Early Times” was deliberately selected to pay homage to the traditional whisky-making techniques of the past, involving the meticulous mashing of grains in small tubs and distilling the spirit in copper stills over open fires.
